IMPORTANT INFORMATION: NSIX email account changes – Wednesday, 13th March 2019

As a result of continued service improvements, we are adding extra security measures to your NSIX email accounts. From 13/03/2019, any email sent from an NSIX email address will be checked for authenticity by its recipient email server. If that email is found not to come from a Google server, it will be rejected or sent to the recipients 'Junk' folder.

 

This will reduce the likelihood of your email account being spoofed and reduce the amount of SPAM potentially generated by NSIX email accounts.

 

To make sure your email is seen as genuine, please use the Norfolk Cloud Portal (https://idp.nsix.org.uk/) or Google Mail website (https://mail.google.com) within your browser, as these are the safest and most reliable way to use your NSIX email account. If you’re using an email app on a laptop, desktop, phone or tablet, please make sure you have it correctly configured to send email. iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201320#automatic (please use "Set up your email account automatically" and select "Google" as your email provider)

 

Android devices – https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6078445?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en (These will have a Gmail application on them so ensure that you configure this with your NSIX account as an additional account)
