Services to Schools contracts for 2013-14
ICT Services for Schools for 2013 -14 have been designed to support your school with essential, proactive and flexible ICT services that work how, when and where you need them. We have therefore reviewed all of our ICT services for schools based on the key message from all users -ICT should just work when you need it.
You also told us you want
to exploit the ICT resources you have, to maximise and see the benefits in school
access to services 24/7 from anywhere
Quality to be consistent, reliable, efficient, effective, flexible and proactive
To see value for money - i.e. clear service agreements, receive the service you paid for and competitive pricing
more information on best practice use and guidance of ICT and be kept informed
understand how services complement each other and how to access them
Over the coming weeks we will be providing more information through the ebulletin, workshops and events such as the Norfolk ICT Conference and Governors Conference to show how we will deliver based on your feedback.
We have updated our school support contracts to ICT ProTech and ICT ProTech Plus designed with
a core contract of proactive support to maximise the availability and reliability of your systems in school including anti-virus licences, more effective remote services and encrypted remote back-up service
Complemented by a range of enhanced services to exploit your ICT resources to get more value from your investment, such as service review visits and annual health check and
providing more localised hands on support in your school to help you get the most benefit from your ICT.
This gives you the flexibility to choose our core ICT ProTech support package with enhanced levels of specialist support such as
Scheduled School Support visits – dedicated support person for half day per month, per 2 weeks and per week or 1 day per week
Call- off blocks of days for support visits when you need it at preferential rates.
Procurement services are now available on a contract basis or as a pay as you go service.
Our website has been updated with the new published contracts and we are in the process of updating all areas to make it clearer what services the contracts include and how they are supported.
For example there is a new section on the front screen of the website related to Norfolk Broadband Service with essential information and resources as follows:.
